Warehouse Brief publishes operators: site managers, continuous improvement leads, systems people, 3PL operations managers, and the engineers who commission the kit. Specific, measured, checkable.
What we are looking for
- A change you made to layout, slotting, shift pattern or process, with the before and after measured the same way both times.
- An automation project with its real payback — including the integration work and the months nobody budgets for.
- A system implementation described honestly, including what the sales cycle promised and what week twelve looked like.
- A labour or peak-season approach with the numbers attached, whether or not it worked.
What we will not run
- A reworking of something already published elsewhere.
- A launch or a case study written as reporting. Promotional material belongs in partner content, labelled — a separate conversation.
- Claims with nothing behind them. If a figure matters, it gets a source.
- Wholesale machine-generated drafts sent unread. It is obvious on the page.
How to pitch
Email editor@warehousebrief.com with the finding in the first paragraph, the measurement behind it next, and a line on why you are the one to write it. A finished draft is welcome but not needed. Pitching on a client’s behalf is fine — say so up front.
What happens next
Five working days is the target for a reply, including a no. Accepted pieces are edited for accuracy, structure and house style and you see the edit before publication. The byline is yours; we link your site or profile once from the author line. Editorial carries no commercial links, and we do not take payment to publish it.
Worth reading the editorial policy first.
